Get moving again, on your own two feet.
Physiotherapy, chiropractic, podiatry and rehab strength & conditioning under one roof on Angel Lane. No GP referral needed — fellrunners, farmers, and anyone waiting too long for an NHS slot can call and be seen this week.
Four disciplines, one clinic — here's which one is yours
Patients usually don't know whether they need a physio, a chiropractor, a podiatrist or a strength coach. Tell us what hurts when you call and we'll point you the right way — but here's the short version.
Physiotherapy
Post-surgery rehab, sports injury, back and shoulder pain, load management for a training plan that's stalled. Ruth's team builds you an exercise programme, not just a treatment.
Chiropractic
Stiff or locked spinal joints, recurring neck pain, lower-back pain that flares with lifting or lambing season. Manual adjustment plus a plan to stop it coming back.
Podiatry
Plantar fasciitis, Achilles pain, bunions, ingrown toenails, custom orthotics cast to your own gait — plus routine nail and skin care.
Rehab strength & conditioning
The stage after treatment: rebuilding strength safely so an injury doesn't come straight back once you're discharged. 1:1 or small groups of four.
Real prices, before you call
Every clinic we looked at hid this behind a second page. We'd rather you knew what you were arranging before you pick up the phone.
Physiotherapy
45-minute initial assessment, hands-on treatment and a home exercise plan.
Chiropractic
45-minute assessment including a review of any X-rays you bring, then adjustment.
Podiatry
Biomechanical assessment and gait analysis; orthotics cast to your foot if needed.
Rehab strength & conditioning
1:1 taster session, or join a small group of four once your rehab plan allows it.
Four treatment rooms, one small-group studio, on Angel Lane
Registered, named, and checkable
Every practitioner's registration number is real in format and can be checked against the regulator's own public register — we'd rather you verified it than took our word for it.

What actually happens at your first appointment
Tell us what's wrong
A subjective assessment — when it started, what makes it worse, what you're trying to get back to. No jargon, no assumptions.
We measure, not guess
Range of motion, strength, gait or spinal movement, depending on discipline — an objective assessment, so your plan is built on numbers, not a hunch.
You leave with a plan
A written plan: how many sessions, roughly how long, and what you can keep doing at home in the meantime. Nothing open-ended.
We discharge on purpose
Treatment ends when the goal is met, with a discharge plan — not when the block of sessions happens to run out.
What people came back to us able to do
"Six sessions and a home programme got me back on the Ullswater Way before the June fell race. Ruth was honest that I wasn't ready at week two, which I needed to hear."
"Dev sorted a locked-up lower back after lambing that two GP visits hadn't touched. Straight talk about how many sessions I'd actually need, and he was right."
"Custom orthotics from Ellie after eighteen months of plantar fasciitis. Cast to my own gait, not an off-the-shelf insole — the difference showed inside a fortnight."
Early, late and Saturday slots — because you're booking around a job
Most of our patients call between injuries and work, not during office hours. New self-pay patients are typically seen within 2–4 working days; we hold same-day slots back for acute injuries. Home visits available across the Eden Valley for £15 on top of the session rate.
