Before you come
What to bring, and what not to
Flat shoes and something you can move in. That is genuinely all. Do not buy lifting shoes, a belt, straps, sleeves or chalk before your first session — we have all of it here to borrow, and you will not know what suits you until you have used somebody else's.
There is a changing room with lockers, a shower and towels. Water is free. There is no café, no smoothie bar, and nothing for sale except a day pass.
If you are under 18
We coach from 15 upward, on the coached and foundation tiers only, with a parent or guardian's written consent and a parent present for the first session. Under-15s are not admitted to the training floor. Open gym is 18 and over.
If you are pregnant, or recently were
You are welcome, and several members have trained right through. Tell the coach and we will programme around it. We will ask you to check with your midwife or GP first, and we will not override what they say.
Or just turn up
Any staffed hour. Ask at the desk for whoever is coaching.
