About Plinth
Thirteen years, three disciplines, one converted saddler's workshop.
Plinth started as a single physiotherapy room above a bakery on Corve Street in 2013. We're still on the same principle: assess properly, explain plainly, and don't keep anyone longer than they need.

The move to Old Street
We moved in 2016 and kept the counter.
Elin Bowen qualified as a physiotherapist in 2010, spent three years in NHS musculoskeletal outpatients in Shrewsbury, and opened Plinth's first room above the bakery on Corve Street in 2013 — one plinth, one chair, and a waiting list within four months. In 2016 the clinic moved to 14 Old Street, a former saddler's workshop, and kept the original fitted oak counter as the reception desk. It's the first thing most patients touch on the way in.
Dr Marcus Hale joined in 2017, bringing chiropractic under the same roof for the first time in Ludlow. Priya Chauhan completed the three-discipline clinic in 2020. The three of us still run a joint case discussion every Thursday lunchtime — if your problem crosses disciplines, the conversation happens between us, not by you repeating your history to someone new.

Everyone you might see, and how to check we are who we say we are.

"Dr Hale modified my first adjustment when I told him I was nervous, and explained exactly what he was doing before he did it. Three sessions in, the headaches that had been near-daily for a year stopped."Owen Pascoe · Bromfield
