Two same-day slots are held back each weekday for acute problems — ring before 10am and ask. There is no out-of-hours service: if something cannot wait until the morning, that is a matter for 111 or A&E, not a physiotherapist.

4 Alma Street, Kelham Island
By car
Six free marked bays directly outside, on the north side of Alma Street. If they are full, the Kelham Island visitor car park is 90 seconds' walk. There is no permit zone and no charge at any time.
By tram and bus
Shalesmoor is the nearest Supertram stop — four minutes on foot, level the whole way. The 7, 8 and 8a stop on Corporation Street, two minutes away.
Access
Ground floor throughout, no step from the pavement, and a door wide enough for a wheelchair or crutches. Accessible WC. If you would rather someone met you at the car, say so when you book — it is not an imposition, it is a Tuesday.

Next assessment: Thursday, 7.30am
Urgent symptoms — loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness around the saddle area, sudden severe weakness in both legs, or a limb that is cold, pale and painless — are red flags. Do not book an appointment. Go to A&E or call 111 the same day.

We are not VAT-registered for physiotherapy: services provided for a therapeutic purpose by an HCPC-registered clinician are exempt under VAT Notice 701/57. Sports massage is a taxable supply and is priced accordingly on the fee list.
Complaints go to the clinician first, then in writing to hello@plumblinephysio.co.uk — acknowledged within five working days, reviewed in writing within twenty. If you remain dissatisfied you may raise a concern with the Health and Care Professions Council about the individual clinician's fitness to practise; we will give you the details.
