Enquiries

Write, telephone, or come to the yard.

Somebody who has actually cast a bell will answer. There is no enquiry team, because there are only eleven of us and none of us would be any good at it.

Monday to Thursday, half seven till half four · Friday until one

Six lines is plenty to start with

If you do not know the answer to something, leave it. Half our enquiries begin “there are either six or eight of them and one sounds wrong”, and that is enough to get going.

We answer every enquiry within one working day, and we will tell you on the telephone if it is not a job for us.

Finding us

Foundry Yard, drawn rather than mapped

Satellite navigation will put you at the wrong end of Trellick Lane, behind a hedge, facing a gate we have not opened since 1998. Use gate 2, which is the one with the bell on it. St Botolph’s is directly opposite and its eight are ours, so you can hear what we do before you knock.

Site plan of Foundry Yard, Marlbrook: furnace hall, moulding shop and tuning shop north of Trellick Lane, visitor parking and gate 2, with Saint Botolph's church opposite and the River Marl to the south
