One world. Three ways in.
These are working art-direction concepts, made for your selection before the full theme build. Each includes a header, parallax hero, book and game sections, and a complete footer. All artwork is original SVG illustration; copy and covers are draft design content.
A · Moonlit passage — recommended
A quiet title suspended above a moonlit valley. Distant stars, mountains, a winding river and close trees respond at different depths. The open landscape gives the book and the game equal weight. A constellation becomes the closing navigation.
Vollkorn for literary headings; Karla for clear navigation. Full-width landscape, centred introduction, then an offset book spread and a wider game scene. Unlike the existing Oriel / Almanac structures, the landscape sets the page rhythm.
B · The celestial atlas
An illustrated field guide with a wide editorial masthead, a left-aligned introduction and a circular star chart. Violet ink on pale paper; a book-first sequence. The chart moves gently behind its static labels. The footer closes like the back page of an atlas.
The round chart and asymmetric reading spread distinguish it from Almanac's school prospectus and Fathom's map conventions. Useful interaction: choose a book or game path in the hero.
C · Through the veil
A monumental stone doorway, a large flush-left title, and a narrow chapter rail. Copper light against deep aubergine. A game-first sequence with the book treated as the origin of the world. A second threshold creates the footer.
The doorway and split composition do the work, without adding a dashboard-like grid or copying a game interface.
What informed the choices
Heaven’s Vault presents a game and related books in one world. Sea of Stars gives its game, artwork and formats distinct paths. Amazon KDP’s sample guidance supports a clear sample route beside the eventual Amazon listing. These are journey references, not evidence that a particular layout improves sales.
Editor fit and remaining work
The existing editor supports theme palettes, fonts, page templates, editable footer regions and individual motion switches. The illustrated parallax hero needs a theme-owned block. Its native behaviour, save/reload and preview/published match have not been tested. The earlier local Starlight plan is preserved; its exclusive visibility requirement must carry into any port.
The Amazon listing, final book cover, synopsis, game artwork and game destination are still needed for real links. The concept does not invent a release date, platform, review or price.
