Keep the lot, conditions and dates rather than invent a percentage.

Say what was counted and what was uncertain.

Keep identity, isolation notes and the actual harvest context.

A clear observation can still inform the record.

Should I remove a failed result?

No invented success is needed. A real library can explain which observations are useful and how to submit them.
