Three parts to every day
Play and explore
Messy play, building blocks, water and sand. Children choose, we follow their lead.
Stories and singing
A story tent, a song for every part of the day and a circle time where every voice counts.
Garden and outdoors
Wellies on, whatever the weather. Digging, growing, climbing and splashing.
A typical morning
Children arrive to a calm room and a choice of activities. Free play comes first, then tidy-up time (with a song), then circle time and a snack. After snack it is outside, whatever the weather, and the last half hour is a story in the tent while parents arrive. Nothing is rushed and nobody is made to join in before they are ready.
Puddle Park Playschool
The Old Chapel Hall, Meadow Lane
A small, friendly playschool for two to five year olds, with a garden and a very good puddle.
Opening hours
Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 3.30, term time.
Breakfast club from 8.00 and a late stay until 5.30.

A named key person for every child, and a safeguarding lead you can always reach.
