Eleanor Marsh in her study

About

Eleanor Marsh

Eleanor Marsh writes novels about letters, libraries, and the sentences people rehearse and then do not send. Inkwell Press is the imprint she keeps for that work: small, slow, and particular about paper.

She drafts in ink, revises in the margin, and believes a book should feel like a desk left in good order — lamp, blotter, one window, and nothing that asks you to hurry.

Previous books include The Quiet Library and the essay collection Marginalia. The Inkbound is her newest novel.
