Groundwork started with a transit, a mixer and a promise: price it straight, finish when you said, leave the site cleaner than you found it. Twenty-five years on there are three crews and a yard full of kit, and the promise has not moved an inch.
The crew and the kit
Every crew is led by someone with at least ten years on the tools, and nobody sets foot on your job without a CSCS card. We run our own diggers, dumpers and wacker plates — no waiting on hire companies — and the yard stocks enough materials that a wet week does not become a lost month.
