The questions people ring up to ask
Before you ring
Asked most, answered here rather than on the telephone.
Check-in is 3pm to 8pm, and one of us will be there. Check-out is 10.30am, though nobody is going to stand over you. After 8pm there is a key safe by the door — we send the code and a photo of which door on the morning of your arrival.
Welcome in the Garden Room and Morston, £15 a stay, towels provided. Not on the beds and not alone in the room. There is an outside tap and somewhere to hang a wet lead.
Three spaces behind the house, given out in booking order — we will tell you at the time whether you have one. If not, the quay car park is 90 m and free after 6pm.
A deposit of one night is taken on booking. Cancel more than 14 days out and it is returned in full; inside 14 days we will always try to re-let the room first before keeping it.
The Garden Room is step-free from the quay: level threshold, 900 mm doors, wet room with grab rails. The rest of the house is Georgian and has 21 stairs and no lift.
Not in the house — but we will book you a table and tell you honestly which kitchen is on form that month. Breakfast is cooked to order, 8am to 9.30am weekdays, 8.30am to 10am at weekends.
