on a typical roof, from scaffold up to switch-on
Your roof, in numbers. Before anyone climbs a ladder.
An estimate from typical local sun and today’s tariff. Shade, the way your roof faces and how you use power all change it, which is what the free survey is for.
We would fit about
4.0kW
9 panels · about £10,800 fitted
Six systems. One crew that fits all of them.

Rooftop solar
Sized to your bill, not to the biggest roof we could fill.

Home batteries
Keep the afternoon sun for the evening, when you actually use it.

EV charging
A wall charger that fills the car from your own panels first.

Solar water heating
The rooftop tank, done properly: new collectors, new cylinder, no leaks.

Shops, offices & hotels
Big roofs that are busy all day pay back fastest of all.

Cleaning & health check
Dust costs output. A wash, a check and a written report each spring.

From first call to first kilowatt in about four weeks.
Week 1
We come and look
A free survey: we measure the roof, check the shade and read your last year of bills.
Week 1
You get a written price
One fixed figure, the panels and battery named, and what the system should make each month.
Weeks 2–3
We handle the grid application
The forms, the drawings and the follow-up calls with the grid operator. You sign once.
Week 4
Two days on the roof
Scaffold, rails, panels, inverter and battery. We leave the site cleaner than we found it.
From then on
Live on your phone
See what it makes, what you use and what you saved, today and every day after.
Real roofs, and what they made last year.

Panels and a battery on a family house
Their bill went from £210 to £28 a month.

Ten panels on a tiled villa roof
Paid for itself in an estimated 3.8 years.

A supermarket roof, working all day
Covers 41% of the shop’s daytime power.
What the neighbours say.
They showed us the month-by-month figures before we signed. A year on, the app says they were within four percent.
Two days, no mess, and they dealt with every form for the grid. I signed one page.
Another firm quoted us a bigger system. Ilios told us we didn’t need it, and they were right.
The questions everyone asks first.
How much will I really save?
It depends on when you use power. Most homes save between 60% and 90% of their bill. The survey works it out from your own bills, not an average.
What happens at night, or on a cloudy day?
You use the grid as you do now, or the battery if you have one. Panels still make some power under cloud, just less.
Do I need a battery?
Not always. If you are home in the day, panels alone often make more sense. We show you both prices side by side.
Is there a grant?
Schemes open and close through the year. We check which one you qualify for when we quote, and fill in the application with you.
How long do the panels last?
Twenty-five years or more. The panels we fit carry a 25-year output warranty, and our workmanship is guaranteed for ten.
