Event photography and film · London

The day, held still.

FRAME & FLASH photographs and films weddings, company gatherings and private celebrations. We stay close, and we stay out of the way.

The studio

Story first. Apparatus second.

A photographer and a filmmaker, working in London and travelling when the day asks for it. The pictures should feel like the room you were in, not like a set that was built around you.

Weddings, corporate evenings, parties. Photography from a few hours to a full day. Film when the sound of the room matters as much as the light.

How we work

Photographs on this site are stand-ins from Wikimedia Commons, not client work.

Selected studies

Place, light, and what the room was doing.

Illustrative studies — not client work. Scenery only, so the site never borrows a real guest.

On the day

Three things we actually do.

  1. 01

    A call, not a deck.

We ask about the room, the order of the day, and who should not be directed. You leave with a fee and a shape, not a moodboard.

  2. 02

    Present, unobtrusive.

We work available light first. A portrait walk only if you want one, and only while it still feels like part of the day.

  3. 03

    Edited, then handed over.

An online gallery. A film when that was the booking. A guest link you can share — on this site, that gallery is a demo.

Words

Sample reviews

They were barely there. The pictures were still full of the people we actually are.

Sample review Wedding

No one was pulled out of the dinner for a group photograph they did not want.

Sample review Company evening

The film sounds like the room. That was the whole ask.
