Jun Park
Instrument maker
“A perfect string is a string with nothing left to teach you.”
Jun Park builds instruments that are slightly unfinished on purpose. Cellos, mostly, and a series of small boxes that are not quite radios and not quite lutes.
He keeps a notebook that is mostly margin. The sentence in the centre is usually the one he stops believing by morning. Players who commission him are warned that the instrument will want a conversation, not a setting.
He tells Mara about the imbalance he refuses to sand away, and what tuning actually agrees to.

Instrument maker Jun Park leaves a little imbalance in the wood, and trusts the margin more than the sentence.
