Ceramic

A layer, not a legend.

Protection varies with care and conditions. Beading is a behaviour. It is not a guarantee.

Plainly

What we will and will not say.

  1. A ceramic coating is a thin sacrificial clear layer, bonded to paint that has already been cleaned and, if needed, corrected. It makes washing easier and gives the gloss a harder surface than a spray wax. It does not hide swirls. Those have to come out first, or the coating locks them in.

  2. It is not a force field. Stone chips, keys and car-park rash still happen. Bird lime and bug acids still etch if they sit. Water that beads is not the same thing as paint that is safe.

  3. We do not publish a lifespan on this page. How long a coating looks itself depends on where the car sleeps, how it is washed, and what the island throws at it. Final price confirmed after inspection.

  4. Showroom is the package where a coating is even on the table. If the paint meter says the clear is thin, we stop and tell you. A coating on tired paint is a shine on a problem.
