Clerkenwell

Two benches, a window, and the work.

Marlowe & Finch is an independent workshop. We make the pieces on this site to order, and we take in repairs and engraving for things that were not made here.

The name is the studio, not a claim about two particular biographies. Replace this page with the real makers, their training, and a photograph of the room. Nothing here is a hallmark, a membership or an award.

Most of the week is quiet making: sizing a shank, setting a small stone, polishing a cuff. Visits are in the late morning and afternoon so the bench is not performing for the whole day.

We work in yellow gold, white gold, rose gold and silver. If a stone is part of the piece, we will say what it is in plain language when you are here. The photographs on this website are library images chosen for style.

You are welcome without an appointment on an open afternoon if you only need to look. For a commission, a sizing or a repair, book a time so the right mandrel and the right chair are free.
