Instructors

Meet the people in the passenger seat

This page is sample content. The roles below are placeholders: a real school would add its own instructors, with their agreement.

Good to know

What to look for in any instructor

Sample wording that applies to learning in Great Britain. A school would add its own details.

A valid badge
Instructors who charge for lessons must be on the official register. Their badge should show in the windscreen: green for fully qualified, pink for trainees.
A dual-control car
A second set of pedals lets the instructor step in. It is what makes a first lesson feel safe.
A teaching style you like
You should feel able to ask questions. If a style does not suit you, say so, and ask for a different instructor.
Clear prices
Know what a lesson costs and what the cancellation rule is before you book. See the sample prices.
