Journal

Short notes from the house. Not advice. Just how we see a visit go well.

A mossy stream running between ferns and rocks

Guide

How to arrive slowly

Leave ten minutes you do not need. The lane into Hartbridge is narrow, and the mill yard is gravel. If you are early, sit in the garden rather than in the car with the news on.

We will not start a treatment before you have had water and a moment to take your shoes off. That is the design, not a delay.

What to expect from your first visit

Isla, or whoever is hosting, will walk you past the pool and show you the lounge. You will not be given a clipboard of goals. You may be asked about pressure, temperature, and whether there is anything we should know.

Phones are welcome in the locker and less welcome on the lounger. The house is quiet on purpose.

About your first visit

Two guests in white robes walking beside a clear pool

Guide

Planning a quiet afternoon for two

Book the longer ritual if you want lunch. The 90 minute drift is enough if you simply want to be in the same room and then go for a walk along the stream.

Tell us about celebrations when you enquire. We can add tea. We will not add a speech.

When you are ready

The next quiet hour

Choose a package, or simply a time. We will confirm by email in this demo, and in life, by a person.
