Free domain: the small print
- It covers endings that cost us under £15 a year to register. Today that is 41 of our 138 endings, including .com, .co.uk, .uk, .org and .net. Look for the "Free with a plan" tag below.
- Yearly plans: the domain is free from the day you sign up.
- Monthly plans: you pay for the domain in year one. From year two, we pay each renewal.
- We keep paying the renewal for as long as your website plan stays active.
- Endings that cost us £15 or more get a discount instead of being free.
- The domain is registered in your name. If you cancel your plan, it stays yours, and you pay the renewals from then on.
