A small black and copper drum roaster beside a sack of green coffee in a compact roastery.

Roastery

One drum, behind the counter.

We roast for our own bar first. What is left, and what we can schedule, goes out to other cafés in 1kg bags. There is no second production site and no night shift.

The routine

A week on the tray.

Wednesday is roast day. Saturday morning you can watch through the glass.

  1. Tuesday

Green coffee in. Samples cupped against the last roast.

  2. Wednesday

Production. House espresso first, then the filter lots.

  3. Thursday

Bags on the shelf. Wholesale collected or handed to the courier.

  4. Friday

The bar. We do not roast on Fridays unless a café is actually out.

A small roastery: a drum roaster with its cooling tray, and sacks of green coffee along a brick wall.

Lead time is about a week. If you need coffee on Monday, write to us the Monday before.

Wholesale

Prices for cafés.

These are the standing prices for whole bean, packed in 1kg bags. A standing order can be fortnightly. We will tell you plainly if a lot is running out rather than swapping it quietly.

A few lines is enough: how many kilos a week, whether you need espresso, filter or both, and when you would want a first delivery. We read these. This form does not email anyone.
