The adviser

Helen Marlow

Chartered Financial Planner · Partner

Most people do not need a more complicated portfolio. They need to know which decision matters, and which one can wait.

Helen has advised private clients since 2009. She spent the first part of her career in a restricted national firm, where the product list did too much of the deciding, and founded Keystone so the recommendation could be made without it.

Her work is concentrated in the decade around retirement, and with owners who have agreed a sale and need the proceeds to last. You meet her for the recommendation. It is not prepared by one person and presented by another.

She also teaches the pension paper on a professional exam course, one evening a month. If a defined-benefit transfer or a complex tax arrangement sits outside what she is competent to advise on, she will say so and decline the work.

Consultation

Ask for an introductory conversation.

Tell us, briefly, what you want to talk about. In a working practice, Helen replies within two working days to offer a forty-minute meeting — in Marylebone, or by video.

  • The meeting is not charged.
  • It is not advice, and it does not make you a client.
