An engagement

Four steps, then a fee you can see.

Nothing is implemented on the back of a meeting. The recommendation is a document you can sit with, and the cost is fixed before that document is written.

  1. Step 01. Introductory conversation

Forty minutes, not charged. We listen for what the money is for, and we both decide whether Keystone is the right firm.

  2. Step 02. Fact-find

Income, assets, pensions, tax, and the things you will not compromise on. Nothing is recommended from a brochure.

  3. Step 03. Written recommendation

A report with the advice, the cost, the risks, and what happens if you do nothing. You can decline it.

  4. Step 04. Implement and review

Business is placed only with your agreement. We then meet on a cycle we put in the engagement letter.

Illustrative fees

These ranges show the shape of a typical engagement. They are not a quote. Your fee is confirmed in an engagement letter before work begins.

The illustrative ranges
  • Whole of market

Not tied to a provider, and not limited to a panel of funds.

  • Fee agreed first

You see the cost in writing before any chargeable work starts.

  • One adviser

The person who signs the recommendation is the person you meet.

  • London & by video

Marylebone meetings, or the same conversation from home.

Consultation

Ask for an introductory conversation.

Tell us, briefly, what you want to talk about. In a working practice, Helen replies within two working days to offer a forty-minute meeting — in Marylebone, or by video.

  • The meeting is not charged.
  • It is not advice, and it does not make you a client.
