Independent financial adviser

Advice that stands on its own.

Keystone Wealth advises families and professionals on investments, pensions, and the decisions that sit between them. We are paid by you. Not by a product provider.

  • Whole of market

Not tied to a provider, and not limited to a panel of funds.

  • Fee agreed first

You see the cost in writing before any chargeable work starts.

  • One adviser

The person who signs the recommendation is the person you meet.

  • London & by video

Marylebone meetings, or the same conversation from home.

Advice services

What the advice actually is.

Four kinds of work. Each one is explained below, including what it does not cover. If a question sits outside them, we say so before you spend a fee.

Covers, and does not cover

  1. 01Lifetime financial planning

A written picture of the life the money has to support: what you spend now, the year you intend to work less, and who relies on you if something goes wrong.

  2. 02Investment advice

Portfolios built for a timeframe you can name. We look across funds, platforms, and cash, then recommend only where the holding fits your tax position and your tolerance for a fall.

  3. 03Retirement and pensions

The order in which to spend pensions, ISAs, and cash, and whether drawdown, an annuity, or a blend is the calmer path. Defined-benefit transfers are treated as the exception.

  4. 04Protection and estate coordination

Where a plan fails if someone dies, becomes ill, or leaves an estate unstructured, that gap is part of the advice — not an afterthought bolted on at the end.

An engagement

Four steps, then a fee you can see.

Nothing is implemented on the back of a meeting. The recommendation is a document you can sit with, and the cost is fixed before that document is written.

  1. 01

    Introductory conversation

Forty minutes, not charged. We listen for what the money is for, and we both decide whether Keystone is the right firm.

  2. 02

    Fact-find

Income, assets, pensions, tax, and the things you will not compromise on. Nothing is recommended from a brochure.

  3. 03

    Written recommendation

A report with the advice, the cost, the risks, and what happens if you do nothing. You can decline it.

  4. 04

    Implement and review

Business is placed only with your agreement. We then meet on a cycle we put in the engagement letter.

Illustrative fees

These ranges show the shape of a typical engagement. They are not a quote. Your fee is confirmed in an engagement letter before work begins.

The adviser

Most people do not need a more complicated portfolio. They need to know which decision matters, and which one can wait.

Consultation

Ask for an introductory conversation.

Tell us, briefly, what you want to talk about. In a working practice, Helen replies within two working days to offer a forty-minute meeting — in Marylebone, or by video.

  • The meeting is not charged.
  • It is not advice, and it does not make you a client.
