Events · From £650

Weddings

We plan the quiet parts with the same care as the last hour. The first dance is the song you chose, not a surprise remix.

Ceremony sound £120 · lighting £150

Long tables and benches set for a reception under a timber roof hung with string lights

What we do

In the room.

  1. Ceremony playback for processional, signing and recessional, as an add-on
  2. Drinks and dinner at a volume people can talk over
  3. A mic that has been checked before speeches
  4. First dance, parent dances if you want them, then an open floor
  5. A do-not-play list we actually follow

Sample timeline

  1. 13:30

Ceremony rig in place if booked. Officiant mic checked.

  2. 15:30

Drinks. Low, warm, no one shouting over a toast.

  3. 17:30

    Dinner. Background stays background.

  4. 19:30

Speeches. We are quiet unless you have asked us to host.

  5. 20:15

First dance, then the floor opens.

  6. 00:00

Finish, unless extra hours were agreed.

Questions for this brief

Do you MC?

We introduce the first dance and the cake if you want a light touch. A full host is a different job. Say so when you enquire and we will be honest if it is not us.

Can we have our own playlist?

Yes for ceremony and dinner. The open floor works better if we can still read the room. Send the songs that matter and the ones to avoid.

What if the venue has a sound limiter?

Tell us early. We bring appropriate speakers and we will not fight the building.

Events · From £850

Corporate events

Awards nights and team parties need music that knows when to get out of the way. We load in early so the host is not waiting on a soundcheck.

Lighting £150 · extra hours £80

A hotel ballroom with round banquet tables, white chairs and a projection screen

What we do

In the room.

  1. Arrival music that sits under conversation
  2. Stings between awards if you supply the cues
  3. Dinner at a civilised level
  4. A dancefloor only if the brief includes one
  5. A brand-safe approach: no explicit edits unless you have cleared them

Sample timeline

  1. 15:00

Load-in before guests, while the room is still being set.

  2. 18:00

Arrivals. Instrumental or soft vocal, agreed in advance.

  3. 19:30

Dinner and awards. Mic for the host.

  4. 21:30

If there is an after-party, the tempo comes up then.

  5. 23:30

Scheduled finish. Overtime only if someone with authority asks.

Questions for this brief

Will you take requests from the sales team?

We take them, and we still follow the brief you signed off. A request that fights the room can wait.

Do you bring microphones?

One wireless handheld is included. A lapel or a second mic is noted on the quote.

Can you play our ident?

If you send a clean file ahead of the day, yes. We do not write jingles.

Events · From £550

Birthdays and private parties

Houses, gardens, lofts and function rooms. The useful question is not the genre. It is when the night has to be over, and who lives next door.

4 hours included · lighting £150

A row of bare light bulbs hanging from a ceiling, out of focus at the edges

What we do

In the room.

  1. A finish time written into the quote
  2. Speakers chosen for the room, not for a warehouse
  3. Background while people eat, then a floor if there is one
  4. Requests, with a do-not-play list for in-jokes that have aged badly
  5. Pack-down that does not leave gaffer tape on the paint

Sample timeline

  1. 18:00

Set up while the house is still calm.

  2. 19:00

    Guests. Music under conversation.

  3. 21:00

Cake or speeches if there are any.

  4. 21:30

Dancing, if the room wants it.

  5. 23:30

Wind down to the agreed finish.

Questions for this brief

Is £550 the house-party price?

Yes, for four hours inside our usual travel. A marquee, a generator or a long drive changes the quote. We say so before you book.

Can you be quiet after 11?

Yes. Tell us the curfew and we programme the last half hour for it.

Do you take children into account?

If the party is all-age until a certain time, we keep the early hour clean and lift it after.

Events · From £250 a set

Club nights

Resident sets for club nights we are actually booked for. Warm-up or peak. We will not dress a support slot up as a headline.

Up to 2 hours · booth rig quoted if the room has none

An empty white DJ booth in a dark club under blue light, with a lit ring on the wall behind

What we do

In the room.

  1. One set, usually 90 minutes to 2 hours
  2. House, garage, disco, afro house or drum and bass, matched to the bill
  3. A booth check before doors where the venue allows it
  4. A clear no if the system is unsafe, rather than a smile and a blown speaker

Sample timeline

  1. Soundcheck

Levels with the engineer, if there is one.

  2. Warm-up

Room still filling. Jordan or Maya, depending on the tempo.

  3. Peak

The set you booked, not a surprise genre change.

  4. Hand-over

We leave the next DJ a clean channel.

Questions for this brief

Is £250 the whole night?

No. That is one resident set. A second set is quoted, not assumed.

Do you bring decks?

If the venue has a working booth, we play on it. If it does not, we quote a booth rig before the day.

Can you play a wedding and a club the same way?

No. Jordan is not the default wedding setting. Maya and Leon usually are.
