Editor guild of six. You report to the head of engineering, Lena Voss, who still reviews the risky diffs.
First months
Instrument the slow documents, pick one cliff, and land it. Then write the performance budget the rest of the guild will keep.
The work
- Make large documents stay under a frame budget
- Set frontend standards without turning them into a wiki nobody reads
- Review work that changes the editor core
- Hire one more senior by the end of the quarter, with us

- Deep React or a comparable UI runtime, plus comfort below the framework
- You have made something slow become fast, and can show the numbers
- German is useful, not required. English is the working language
