Finished website export licence
Version website-export-v1-draft. This is proposed wording for owner/legal approval, not an activated offer or a replacement for an existing customer agreement. Paid exports remain subject to compatibility, rights and launch checks.
Approved proposed price: £39 / €45 / US$49, one-off per website, excluding applicable tax. Price approval does not clear design or asset redistribution rights.
One finished website
The proposed licence allows the reviewed finished website to be copied to another host and displayed independently. It is tied to the website/project identified in the licence record, not a reusable theme product for creating other client websites.
What is delivered
The package contains only the supported website’s resolved public pages, styles, approved used assets and narrowly scoped local interactions. It does not contain the FastSites editor, theme catalogue, reusable source definitions, platform services or customer account credentials. The compatibility report identifies the exact scope before purchase.
Hosting independence
The exported pages do not require a FastSites editor, activation key or call-home display check. A hosting cancellation is separate from export. FastSites cannot promise to prevent all copying of static website files.
Earlier agreements and customer-owned work
Verified portability already included in an earlier agreement must be honoured without charging a new premade-design fee. Customer-owned DIY/custom work is assessed according to its existing rights; it is not automatically treated as a premade theme purchase.
Images, fonts and third-party material
Only assets cleared for redistribution in this package may be included. Third-party licence conditions and required notices continue to apply. An owner checkbox alone is not evidence that a stock image, font, icon or other asset can be redistributed.
Your content and private records
Free supported customer-content export remains separate from the design licence. Private customer, member, order, booking and form records must not be uploaded as public website files. A static export does not migrate authentication, payment services, email, databases or integrations.
Transfers, refunds and disputes — approval pending
The final rules for a project transfer, agency handover, refunds, withdrawal rights and disputed payments require owner/legal approval before sales. During testing, a refund or dispute places future downloads under review; it never installs a remote display lock in an already exported website. Nothing in this draft is intended to remove any non-excludable consumer rights.
You can still export supported customer content free without purchasing a design licence.
