Process
The order of work is the finish.
Ceilings before walls. Repairs before colour. Weather before masonry. We would rather move a date than paint over a damp day or a wet coat.
How we work
Five steps, most of them unglamorous
The colour is step four. Everything before it is why the room still looks right next year.

Walk-through
We look at the rooms with you and write what is actually in the way.
Cracks, stains, failing caulk, doors that bind, paper that has to come off. The estimate is a scope, not a guess dressed up as a fixed poem.
Colour edit
Samples go on the wall, in the light the room really has.
We leave two or three colours, not a fan deck. You live with them for a day. North-facing plaster and a south-facing hall are not the same decision.
Protect & prep
Floors covered, fittings masked, surfaces made ready.
This is most of the job. Filling, sanding with dust control, priming bare spots, and caulking the lines people notice later.
Paint & paper
Thin coats, cut in by hand, sheen chosen room by room.
We do not rush a second coat onto a tacky first. Wallpaper is booked when the walls are flat enough to deserve it.
Snag & care
We walk it with you, then leave a short note on washing and touch-up.
A missed edge is easier to see together. You get the product names, the sheen, and how long to leave it before hanging anything.

On site
What we will not rush
A second coat on tacky paint. Paper over a wall that still moves. Gloss used to hide poor filling. If the scope changes because something is worse than it looked, we stop and say so before the extra work starts.
