The visit

What to expect

A quiet sequence. We do not promise a particular finish, and we do not give veterinary advice.

  1. 1

    Booking and a reminder

You pick a slot. We send a sample reminder the day before with a short prep list.

  2. 2

    Arrival and a hello

We park, meet your dog, and check they are happy to continue. You can stay close.

  3. 3

    The groom, in stages

Bath, dry, then a tidy if that is the package. Breaks are normal. We do not rush a worried dog.

  4. 4

    Finishing

A brush-through, a look together, and a photo if you want one. Payment in this demo is not taken.

  5. 5

    Aftercare

We leave a plain note: when to brush, and a sample suggestion to rebook in about six weeks.

Guides

Preparing

  • A walk beforehand, so they are ready to settle.
  • Tell us about mobility, worry, or anything your vet has already flagged.
  • Have fresh water and a towel ready.
  • Clear a little space by the kerb if you can.
  • Stay reachable by phone during the visit.

Is my dog suitable?

Puppies can have a short intro. We stop when they have had enough.

Seniors are welcome. Tell us about stairs, joints or anything your vet has already mentioned.

Anxious dogs get a slower hello. Worry is not a reason to be turned away, and it is not something we treat.

When we pause

We pause or stop for heat, pain or distress. That can mean a shorter tidy, a break, or ending the visit. We explain it in plain language and we do not push on.
