The boiler pressure keeps dropping
A slow leak, a tired pressure relief valve, or a radiator you forgot you bled. Here is the order we check them in.

If the gauge falls overnight but the boiler still fires, do not keep topping it up all week. Fresh water brings oxygen, and oxygen makes sludge. Top up once so you have heat, then book a look.
We start at the obvious places: radiator valves, the pressure relief pipe outside, and the condensate. A wet patch under a rad valve is a repair. Water from the copper tail outside usually means the relief valve has lifted — sometimes because the expansion vessel has lost its air charge.
What we will not do is sell a new boiler because the needle moved. If the vessel, the valve or a single joint is the fault, that is the quote. A combi swap is only on the table when the heat exchanger is split or parts for that model are gone.
Until we arrive: note how fast it drops, do not cap the relief pipe, and if you smell gas or hear water hitting electrics, shut the boiler off and call us on the emergency line.
