Atelier Sol
A small hotel that takes breakfast seriously.
Sample content
01 — Brief
What we were asked to do
Atelier Sol was opening twelve rooms and a dining room. They needed an identity that could live on a brass plate, a menu and a jar of house jam.
02 — Studies
Drawing before deciding
03 — Identity
The mark we kept
A quarter-sun: one circle, one arc, the same geometry we would ask of a wayfinding sign. Warmth without costume. The jam label uses the menu’s type, not a separate “product” face.
04 — Compare
Before and after
The “before” is a sample of an unresolved identity, not a real previous brand.
Left: before. Right: after.
