Ridgeline Campus
A STEM building with the structure left in the room. Teaching continued on the adjoining quad throughout.
Called off a framework we had held for six years. The university wanted the frame expressed: board-marked concrete, glulam spines, glass that shows the section rather than hiding it.
Term-time noise limits shaped the programme more than the weather. Heavy demolition sat in the Easter and summer windows. The building opened for the autumn term it was promised for.
