How the job runs
Most of the boards we replace are plastic, rewirable, or a mix of old MCBs with no RCD on the sockets. We survey the tails, the earthing, and the meter cupboard before we quote, so the price includes the awkward bits — henley blocks, a longer tail, a borrowed neutral that has to be split.
On the day the power is off for a defined window, usually under four hours for a straight swap. You get labelled ways, a test sheet, and the Building Regulations notification sorted by us.
