EICR testing

Condition reports for sales, rentals and insurers. Coded properly, explained in plain English.

How the job runs

An EICR is a survey, not a repair. We do not inflate C2s to manufacture a board change, and we do not hide a melted neutral behind a ‘further investigation’.

Landlords get a pack they can send to the agent: the report, photos, and a separate quote for anything that is actually unsafe.

Code key

Four codes, used correctly.

The bit agents argue about. Read what an EICR actually checks.

C1
Danger present, we isolate.
C2
Potentially dangerous, it needs a repair before we’d call the installation safe.
C3
An improvement, not a fail.
FI
We could not see it and someone has to open it up.
